Job summary

The Bridge House Hotel & Leisure Club in Tullamore is seeking a Wedding & Events Executive to drive enquiries into bookings and promote the hotel’s wedding, conferences and events facilities. You will meet clients, prepare proposals, and coordinate with departments to ensure top service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in weddings/events/hospitality, strong organisation, and proficiency with hotel software. Flexible hours including evenings/weekends are expected; fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in weddings, events, sales or hospitality.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Commercially aware with a positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sales-focused with a customer-centric approach.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with hotel/event software (e.g., Hotsoft).
• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage wedding and events enquiries and convert them into bookings.
• Sell the hotel’s wedding, conferences and events facilities.
• Meet with prospective clients for conferences and weddings.
• Prepare proposals, contracts and function sheets.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure high service levels.
• Coordinate with external suppliers (florists, musicians, car hire).
• Track deposits, contracts and final payments.
• Act as hotel ambassador for conferences, events and wedding show-arounds.
• Organise and attend wedding fairs and other Event Trade Shows.
