Job summary

Bridge House Hotel & Leisure Club in Tullamore is seeking a Wedding and Events Executive to join our Sales and Marketing Team. You will manage wedding and events enquiries, convert them into bookings, present proposals, and coordinate with hotel departments to ensure high service standards.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in weddings or hospitality, excellent communication, strong organisation, and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in weddings, events, sales or hospitality.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Commercially aware with a positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Sales-driven with a customer-focused mindset.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management or event software (e.g. Hotsoft).
• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage all queries in relation to weddings and events enquiries and bookings and convert enquiries into confirmed wedding and event bookings.
• Proactively handle events and wedding sales enquiries and sell Hotel’s Wedding, Conferences and Events facilities.
• Meet with prospective clients both conference and weddings and showcase our hotel.
• Prepare detailed documentation (proposals, contracts and function sheets) for all Wedding and Event bookings.
• Coordinate with all relevant Hotel departments and stakeholders to ensure consistency and a high level of service throughout pre-event and post event.
• Coordinate with external suppliers (Florists, Musicians, Car Hire).
• Track deposits, contracts and final payment.
• Act as hotel ambassador for all conferences, events and wedding show arounds with potential clients.
• Organise and attend Wedding Fairs and other Event Trade Shows.
