Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is assisting a prestigious hotel in Offaly, Ireland, to recruit a Wedding and Events Executive. You will manage enquiries from first contact to final execution, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will conduct site visits, prepare proposals and contracts, guide clients through menus, décor, layouts and timelines, and coordinate with hotel departments and suppliers to ensure flawless events. Occasional evenings/weekends required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in weddings, events, or hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a sales-driven approach.
• Proficiency with hotel/event management systems (e.g., Hotsoft).

Responsibilities

• Manage wedding and event enquiries from initial contact to final execution.
• Conduct site visits, prepare proposals/contracts, and guide clients through planning.
• Coordinate with hotel departments and external suppliers for events.
• Track deposits, contracts and payments; upsell opportunities to boost revenue.
• Represent the hotel at wedding fairs and client meetings; monitor market trends.
