Job summary

The Grace Westport Estate in Westport, Ireland, is seeking a Sales & Events Executive to manage enquiries for meetings, conferences, corporate events, weddings and group accommodation. Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in hotel sales, event sales, event coordination or hospitality.
• Proven ability to convert enquiries into confirmed business and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Confident conducting client meetings and professional hotel site inspections.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify sales and revenue opportunities.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to support events.
• Passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to sales enquiries and maximise opportunities to convert business.
• Meet with prospective clients to understand requirements and present tailored solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and property tours, showcasing The Grace and experiences available.
• Prepare personalised proposals, quotations and contracts for meetings, conferences, weddings and private functions.
• Coordinate event details from confirmation through to on-site delivery and liaise with hotel departments.
• Deliver exceptional customer service from enquiry through post-event follow-up.
