Veolia Ireland is seeking a Construction Site Agent for a 12-month specified purpose contract. The role involves leading a civils-heavy site, coordinating with design, project management and on-site teams to ensure safety, quality and programme delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a civil/trade background, 10 years' site experience in water/wastewater projects, and relevant IOSH certification. Travel across Veolia sites in Ireland may be required.
Location: On site between Mitchelstown, Co. Cork and Newcastle West, Co. Limerick

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
This is a Construction Site Agent within the Water/Waste Water Industry. The project involves heavy civils, deep excavations, temporary works in the form of sheet piling/ cofferdam/dewatering and pipework installation. It includes the construction of large insitu concrete water tanks and the building enclosure is a steel frame with blockwork and cladding. The role involves leading the construction team and subcontractors on site and will have the responsibility to put H&S of site personnel at the top of the agenda. The role will interact with the following departments: Veolia Design and Project Management Teams, Client, Operations on site, Contractors and sub-contractors. What's more, you'll be provided with the freedom to push boundaries and constantly learn and develop your skill-set. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects across a wide range of sectors, including industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare and municipal. This is a site based position dependent on the successful applicant, but the incumbent may be required to travel to other Veolia sites, plants and offices throughout Ireland.
