Job summary
Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited is seeking a Field Engineer to lead data center upgrades, improve water-based cooling systems, and mentor teams across operations, design, and commissioning. You will own conceptual designs and drive reliable, efficient infrastructure in a fast-growing AWS environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
- 5+ years in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
- 5+ years in water engineering or water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Experience with water treatment technologies and water quality regulations.
- Understanding of data center cooling and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot site issues, perform RCA, and document corrective actions.
- Support operational issues with training and SOP reviews.
- Own conceptual designs for data center upgrades.
- Interface with ops, design, server and safety teams to maintain standards.
- Develop innovative solutions for AWS data centers.
- Lead audits and on-site visits; produce risk reports with mitigations.
- Act as resident engineer during construction and turnover.
