Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer to support AWS Data Centers from design through maintenance, focusing on water-based cooling systems and reliability. The role involves field work across regions, leadership on audits, and the creation of runbooks, guidelines, and best practices to support operations and future data center upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, perform RCA, and document corrective actions for site/equipment failures.
• Provide ad-hoc training and SOP reviews to ops teams.
• Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to improve capacity and efficiency.
• Interface with data center operations, design engineers, server hardware, and safety teams.
• Develop innovative water infrastructure solutions and lead audits/risks assessments.
