Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to provide full life‑cycle support for AWS Data Centers, focusing on water-based cooling systems and upgrades. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to assess performance, implement improvements, and develop best practices for reliability and sustainability.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Data analytics and data querying skills, with scripting ability.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures.
Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training and SOP reviews.
Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to add capacity and improve efficiency.
Interface with data center operations, design engineering, server hardware, EHS teams to promote standards.
Develop innovative solutions for AWS data centers.
Handle concurrent projects across regions and lead audits including on-site visits.
Act as resident engineer during new construction projects, supporting turnover.
