Job summary

Arup’s Water Engineer Work Placement in Ireland offers hands-on experience in a global consultancy. You’ll work with the Ireland water team on projects from flood relief schemes to treatment plant design, gaining exposure to civil and environmental engineering work.

You’ll collaborate with engineers across disciplines, develop digital skills (ArcGIS) and learn from mentors while meeting project deadlines. A strong interest in water and wastewater treatment and sustainable drainage is valued.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in civil, environmental, chemical or related engineering.
• Interest in water/wastewater treatment and sustainable drainage.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support design and analysis for water projects in Ireland and internationally.
• Assist with flood risk assessment and hydrological studies.
• Help prepare technical reports and drawings.
