Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate to join the Water team in Ireland. You'll gain hands-on experience across hydraulic modelling, water infrastructure design, and project delivery while working with a global team of engineers.

You'll develop skills in calculations, report writing, and software tools, with support to pursue ICE/CIWEM qualifications. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to work on site visits and international projects.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 rating.
• MEng in Civil, Structural or Water-related MSc would be advantageous.
• Water modules and relevant work experience are beneficial.
• Willing to pursue ICE/CIWEM professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Undertake numerical analysis using computer-based programmes for potable, surface and wastewater systems.
• Carry out feasibility studies for water-related solutions and attenuation requirements.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations with appropriate software.
• Produce water infrastructure designs, pump systems and pipe networks.
• Prepare sketches and consolidate final drawings with Technicians.
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory guidance affecting design work.
• Collaborate with team members on technical work, site visits and project management.
