Job summary

Mulrines is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor at Ballybofey to lead a fast-paced warehouse team. You will oversee goods-in, storage, despatch and stock control, while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will manage rotas, performance and processes, driving efficiency and high service levels for customer commitments. A hands-on leader with strong IT and communication skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team-lead role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people management skills, including rotas, holidays and absence management.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, including goods in/out and stock control.
• Forklift licence/certification desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations: goods-in, storage, stock control, order picking/packing and despatch.
• Lead, motivate and support the warehouse team with clear priorities.
• Manage team rotas, holiday scheduling, absence reporting and performance management.

• Ensure safe and effective use of equipment including forklifts and scanners.

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out, maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance, while leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including goods-in, storage, stock control, order picking/packing, and despatch.

• Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team, ensuring clear communication of tasks and priorities.

• Manage team rotas, holiday scheduling, absence reporting, and performance management.

• Monitor and improve warehouse processes to drive efficiency and maintain accuracy across all stock movements.

• Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet trucks, and scanners.

• Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to monitor stock levels and report on key metrics.

• Conduct regular inventory checks and liaise with relevant departments on discrepancies.

• Uphold high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and compliance across the warehouse and despatch area.

• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other site departments to ensure operational targets and customer commitments are achieved.

• About You

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team lead role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.

• Strong people management skills, with experience in rotas, holiday management, absence management, and performance management.

• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, including goods in/out and stock control.

• Forklift licence/certification desirable but not essential.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Good I.T Skills.

• A hands-on leader with the ability to balance team supervision with practical warehouse duties as required.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
