Job summary

Mulrines of Donegal is Ireland’s premier juice producer with a long history and two major sites in Ireland. The role focuses on sourcing ingredients and packaging, negotiating supplier contracts, and managing stock levels to support production.

You will liaise with shipping companies, customs agents and internal teams to optimise procurement, ensure compliance and drive efficiencies across the supply chain in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Procurement or supply chain experience in FMCG/food & beverage preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate and manage supplier relationships for timely procurement.
• Monitor stock levels and align orders with production needs.
• Handle international shipping paperwork and customs clearance.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations and Quality teams to improve efficiency.

About the Role

As Procurement Co- Ordinator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that ingredients and packaging are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively. You’ll liaise with suppliers, shipping companies, customs agents, and internal teams to optimise procurement processes and ensure stock levels are well managed.

What You’ll Do:

• Source, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

• Monitor stock levels, track shipments, and align orders with production needs.

• Handle international shipping paperwork, customs clearance, and compliance.

• Work closely with Planning, Operations, and Quality teams to enhance efficiency.

• Identify and implement supply chain improvements to drive operational success.

• Assist with supplier audits and ensure procurement meets quality and regulatory standards.

• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to maintain smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in FMCG or food & beverage manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs procedures, and documentation (Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.).

• Experience working with suppliers, shipping companies, and customs agents.

• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
