Job summary

McHale is seeking a Store Person – Goods Inward to join our warehouse team. This permanent role reports to the Inventory Manager and focuses on goods in, quality control, labeling, space optimisation and MRP receipt processing.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, a full clean Irish driving licence and forklift experience, with a proactive, team-focused approach to tight schedules and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy warehouse/store department is advantageous.
• Full Clean Irish Driving Licence required.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Dynamic team player with proactive work across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of a Goods in section within a busy warehouse environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• All aspects of a Goods in section within a busy warehouse environment.
• Quality control on deliveries.
• Labeling / packaging with company logo.
• Locating material and maximizing space requirements.
• Processing receipts onto MRP system.
• Stock control, location auditing, Store layout planning and sequencing, Recording weights.
• Restock of high moving lines and management of consumables.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a busy warehouse/stores department is advantageous, preferably in Manufacturing.
• Full Clean Irish Driving License required.
• Forklift driving experience.
• Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
• High level of enthusiasm and motivation and the ability to take input from others and meet tight schedules
