Our client is a highly experienced Global Sourcing Specialist in Industrial Supplies. They currently work with numerous high-profile multinational companies, delivering a specialist service that requires exceptional operational and procurement support to their on-site teams. They have built strong relationships not only with their clients but also with their suppliers, and they work diligently to maintain those relationships through strong communication, reliability, and service excellence.

They are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative/Inventory technician to work on their client site in Kilkenny.

Role/Responsibilities

• Receiving goods inwards
• Stock/Cycle Counting
• Deliver the day-to-day operations of the Stores
• Deliver the agreed metrics to support the benchmarking of site
• Carry out customer/site specific requests in line with contractual agreement
• Other ad hoc duties

Candidate Profile

• Operating knowledge of, SAP, Ariba, Maximo, M3 etc an advantage but not essential
• Fully Computer Literate with good attention to detail - knowledge of MS software packages (Excel, Word) would be an advantage
• Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
• Fluency in English an essential
• Adaptable and Flexible Approach with a can-do attitude and an ability and willingness to learn
• Confident in dealing with Clients and vendors
• Ability to handle engineering queries from the engineers
• Knowledge of engineering parts an advantage
