Job summary

Aran Sweater Market in Killarney is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team on a fixed-term basis at our central Distribution Centre. You will assist with goods inward and stock replenishment, and support the efficient running of our warehouse and distribution operations.

You will operate a forklift, check delivery documentation, update the stock system, and perform general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or goods inward environment.
• Forklift training certificate and forklift experience.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Basic computer skills; experience with electronic stock systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload trucks, transport goods and store stock safely.
• Check delivery documentation and process incoming goods.
• Carry out general warehouse and housekeeping duties.
• Update the electronic stock system accurately.
• Conduct quality inspections and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or goods inward environment.
• A valid forklift training certificate and experience operating a forklift.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Basic computer skills, with experience using electronic stock systems an advantage.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
