Job summary

Elite Talent Hub is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver for a busy warehouse in Naas, Co. Kildare. This permanent, full-time role offers on-the-job training with real development and upskilling opportunities.

Responsibilities include accurate order picking, stock checks, loading/unloading, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Forklift licence is desirable; driving licence and good customer communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately and pack and wrap for dispatch.
• Check orders before dispatch and report duplicates or shortages.
• Check in deliveries and flag issues.
• Verify courier manifest counts (boxes, pallets, returns).
• Load/unload vehicles and store products correctly.
• Conduct stock counts and store orders in allocated areas.
• Interact proactively with colleagues, customers, and hauliers.
• Maintain a tidy workspace and follow health and safety rules.
• Report issues to the supervisor and assist as needed.

Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver - Naas, Co. Kildare

About the Role:

Our client, a well-established supply and distribution company in Naas, Co. Kildare, is looking for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role suits someone with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn - full on-the-job training is provided, with genuine development and upskilling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick orders accurately and pack and wrap them for dispatch to company protocols
• Check all orders before dispatch and report any issues such as duplicates or shortages, ensuring order, invoice and goods match
• Check in deliveries and highlight any issues
• Check the courier manifest to confirm the correct number of boxes, pallets, returns and any changes
• Load and unload vehicles and move and store products in the correct areas
• Carry out stock counts and put away stock and orders in allocated areas
• Deal with colleagues, customers and hauliers in a proactive, engaging and helpful manner
• Maintain and keep the work area tidy and adhere to all health and safety requirements
• Report issues or concerns to the supervisor and carry out other tasks as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

• Forklift licence desired - multi-directional forklift experience an advantage but not essential
• Full driving licence
• Good communication skills and enjoy a warehouse environment and dealing with customers
• Attention to detail and a quality focus
• Availability to work overtime as required
