About the role:
Product and Equipment Delivery:
- Loading of furniture and equipment.
- Delivery of products and set‑up of chairs, desks and other furniture.
- Product demos to clients.
Goods Inwards & Outwards:
- Pick and pack goods for delivery to our customers.
- Ensure goods are in saleable condition, functioning correctly and re‑labelled.
- Check and organise goods inwards from suppliers.
Stock Management:
- Notify Operations team when stock levels are low.
- Keep main shelves stocked and retrieve surplus items from higher shelves.
- Monitor and eliminate redundant stock.
- Take pictures of sale and demo items for resale.
- Handle faulty products, returns and maintenance.
- Check returns are in good condition and communicate faults to Operations.
- Fix faulty products promptly and document faults and needed replacement parts.
- Perform ongoing maintenance of chairs and desks at client sites.
General Upkeep:
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and free of obstructions.
- Ensure all areas are correctly labelled.
- Flat‑pack boxes and maintain suitable box sizes.
- Separate waste (cardboard, plastic, etc.) for disposal.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in a warehouse environment or as a contract furniture installer.
- Ability to lift, push or pull products weighing 25‑50 kg.
- Good problem‑solving ability.
- Driving experience with large vans and a full clean driving licence.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools to assemble furniture (desirable).
- Excellent customer‑service skills, conducting professional and courteous client contact.
