Job summary

St Vincent's University Hospital is seeking a Grade VI Waiting List Coordinator within the Clinical Administration Department. The role focuses on managing and coordinating waiting lists, including IPDC and OPD outsourcing initiatives, to ensure timely patient processing.

The post holder will oversee day-to-day operational supervision of staff, data quality checks, and reporting of waiting-list performance, aligning with national guidance and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the administrative management of IPDC and OPD outsourcing initiatives, working closely with the Grade VII and relevant clinical services.
• Oversee the identification and validation of patients suitable for outsourcing and ensure patients are progressed through the appropriate pathway.
• Oversee patient contact in relation to outsourcing, ensuring outcomes are recorded and appropriate follow-up action is taken.
• Oversee the upload and management of patients through the HSE Access to Care/UAN Portal, NTPF and other relevant national programmes or systems.
• Monitor and track patients through the outsourcing pathway, including patients accepted, declined, treated or returned to SVUH.
