Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager in Dublin to oversee the delivery of accounting and reporting for private equity and other alternative investments. You will lead a team, drive controls, and leverage AI-enabled tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

In this role you will manage complex fund structures, coordinate with auditors and clients, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA preferred.
• Significant experience in fund accounting and private equity.
• Experience with IFRS and US GAAP reporting.
• Knowledge of LPs, SPVs, and private capital structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team delivering fund accounting services for private equity and alternative investment structures.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, NAV packages and capital statements.
• Manage accounting activity across the fund lifecycle including capital calls and distributions.
• Review reporting for complex structures such as LPs, feeder funds and SPVs.
• Ensure deliverables meet client expectations, controls and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate quarter- and year-end activities with auditors and clients.
