Morgan McKinley in Ireland is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Private Equity Fund Accounting team. You will contribute to the administration of private equity funds, including NAV production, financial reporting and client service delivery.

Working closely with clients, investors and auditors, you will ensure timely, accurate reporting and maintain high standards of compliance, controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, fund accounting or financial reporting.
• Experience preparing management accounts and understanding debits/credits.
• Knowledge of private equity fund administration or willingness to develop.
• Knowledge of Irish regulatory and tax environment related to fund accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS is advantageous.
• Strong technical accounting skills with high accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality fund accounting and administration services for PE clients.
• Prepare and review NAVs within agreed deadlines.
• Assist with fund financial statements, management accounts and reporting.
• Liaise with clients, investors, auditors and stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory requirements and deadlines are met.
• Assist with regulatory returns and CSO submissions.
• Oversee processing and payment of fund operating expenses.
• Support onboarding of new clients and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements and day-to-day operations.
