Job summary

Citco is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Fund Accounting (Private Assets) in Dublin. The role sits in a hybrid environment and leads a PE accounting team, delivering high-quality accounting and reporting for private equity structures.

You will mentor staff, develop SME knowledge on PE client structures, and ensure timely, accurate deliverables and client relationships. A background in accounting operations and PE is desirable, with strong financial services knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice.
• 3+ years’ experience in Private Equity (Desirable).
• Strong team player with good communication and written skills.
• Ability to handle several deliverables with multiple stakeholders and prioritize deadlines.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and eagerness to learn.
• Proven Fund Accounting system, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a PE accounting team of supervisors and accounting specialists.
• Mentor and develop your team through training and development.
• Develop into a SME on PE client structures and PE accounting processes.
• Manage and monitor client deliverables (SLAs).
• Manage monthly/quarterly reporting pack preparation.
• Manage client capital activity processing (calls/distributions/transfers).
• Review/prepare management fee & waterfall/carry calculations.
• Prepare accounts and/or financial statements for complicated PE structures.
• Engage in local and global group projects.
• Regularly engage with your team and your manager on goals and performance reviews.
• Communicate with client(s) and maintain relationships.
• Review LPAs, PPMs and other materials to ensure service levels.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders.
• Work with onboarding solutions teams to implement new fund structures.
