Job summary

Virgin Media Ireland is seeking a Digital Asset Coordinator for its Virgin Media Television operations. You will oversee the editing, encoding and timely delivery of all Video on Demand content across Virgin Media Play and website platforms, with irregular hours and weekend work.

You will input metadata, monitor deliveries and manage schedules with platform partners. The role requires hands‑on editing/media management experience, familiarity with multiplatform VOD workflows, and strong

Qualifications

Experience with multiplatform/VOD materials delivery.
Knowledge of Avid based editing systems, or similar.
Have at least 1 year’s editing or media management experience.
Understanding of broadcast video file formats and standards.
Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot to resolve issues and shift priorities with ease.

Responsibilities

Creation of assets and input of metadata into the Content Management System.
Monitor deliveries through stages – metadata creation to platform appearance; remedy issues.
Creation and delivery of the Digital schedules to external platforms including late schedule changes.
Manage schedules and EPGs for Virgin Media PLAY, VIreland and third-party platforms.
Develop relationships with platform partners to address file failures and ensure deliveries are complete.
Monitor VOD platforms to ensure content is represented accurately (imagery/metadata).
Liaise with Commercial Department to handle advertising requests accurately and timely.
Monitor external customer enquiries and resolve/escalate user issues.
Collaborate with development and internal tech teams to log issues and assist solutions.
Develop relationships with internal stakeholders; generate creative VOD concepts.
Manage VOD Box Set campaigns from encoding to presentation on platforms.
Editorialisation of content on Virgin Media TV website and Virgin Media Play.
Work with Ad Operations to deliver and monitor campaigns across platforms.
Manage encoding, delivery and promotion of VOD campaigns on Virgin Media Player and platforms.
Publish content to Virgin Media TV website; add new information as required.
Media Asset Management.
