Job summary

Apple Cork is seeking a Distribution Operations Specialist to manage asset delivery and tracking for Apple branded original content. You will coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery of video, audio, and ancillary assets, while maintaining quality and SOP adherence.

Join a fast-paced, cross-functional team supporting EST/VOD, OTT, and subscription platforms from Cork, Ireland. Night shifts and occasional travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Asset Distribution Operations in a studio, network, or related facility.
• Strong understanding of file-based delivery standards and practices.
• Experience with episodic and movie distribution servicing workflows.
• Knowledge of AV containers, codecs, and file formats.
• Collaborative, organized and a team player.
• Able to work under pressure on large, time-critical projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Must follow SOPs and know when to escalate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day initiation, tracking, and troubleshooting of distribution activities across systems.
• Collaborate with Ingest and Distribution Operations teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor milestones and delivery due dates; issue alerts for transfers or system failures; report status to stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery packages include video, ancillary assets, metadata, and are properly formatted.
• Monitor delivery queues to meet high-priority orders and SLAs.
• Act as first line of defense for delivery failures; diagnose and re-initiate failed deliveries; escalate complex issues.
• Demonstrate knowledge of digital archival principles and industry-standard file formats.
