Job summary

Virgin Media Ireland is seeking a natural project co-ordinator with a technical understanding of Business fixed line, WiFi, Radio and data connectivity solutions and the capacity to multitask on multiple projects within the Business Service Delivery function.

The role focuses on delivering Business customer solutions to the highest industry standards with an emphasis on delivering an excellent customer experience at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management/coordination and service delivery

Responsibilities

• Deliver B2B customer solutions/projects within specific timelines
• Act as the primary contact once a project is assigned and ensure customer satisfaction
• Liaise with customers through the project lifecycle for excellent communications
• Coordinate with management companies and landlords for way-leave applications
• Coordinate with engineering for installs and dates
• Coordinate with planning for third-party construction and cabling
• Maintain relationships with third-party carriers and suppliers to ensure delivery of services
• Provide weekly updates and status reports
• Create handover documents to customers and support teams
• Assist teams within Business Operations as needed

About the Role:

We are looking for a natural project co-ordinator with a technical understanding of Business fixed line, WiFi, Radio and data connectivity solutions and the capacity to multitask on multiple projects within the Business Service Delivery function.

In general, the individual will be responsible for delivering Business customer solutions to the highest industry standards with specific focus on delivering an excellent customer experience at all times.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

• Deliver B2B Customer solutions/Projects within specific timelines.
• Act as primary point of contact once project has been assigned and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.
• Liaise directly with customers throughout the lifecycle of the project delivery ensuring excellent communications and customer experience.
• Liaise with management companies and Landlords in securing the necessary way-leave applications.
• Liaise with engineering resource to plan installs and agree dates.
• Liaise with the planning Dept in the co-ordination with 3rd party construction and cabling contractors.
• Liaise, co-ordinate and maintain relationships with 3rd party carriers and suppliers to ensure the delivery of our customer’s service is paramount.
• Track project issues and suggest solutions whilst interacting with the relevant teams.
• Be a service delivery advocate with emphasis on speed of delivery as opposed to complex methodology.
• Responsible for weekly updates, reports and project status updates
• Produce handover documents to customer and effective handover to our Business Customer Support teams
• Assist the various teams within Business Operations if requested

Skills & Expertise:

• Project Management/ Coordination or Service Delivery experience
• Qualification in Business Studies or Project management or relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of WiFi technologies and deployment of WiFi solutions is preferred.
• Experience working in a Telecom/Operational environment is desired
• Strong Operational Administration experience
• Experience interacting with customers and building relationships
• Experience acting in a proactive and resourceful manner, always looking for improvements
