Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is looking for an energetic supervisor to work with school-aged children in after-school programs at Moynalvey NS, Meath. The role involves supervising activities, helping with homework, and leading a variety of indoor and outdoor activities each day.

You will create a safe, inclusive environment, communicate in English, and bring enthusiasm to group crafts and games. Garda vetting and references are required, with roles on Monday to Friday 1:55pm to 6:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assistwith homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assistwith games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
