Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is hiring for after-school staff to supervise school-aged children in on-site club environments. You will lead engaging activities, assist with homework, and help create a safe, inclusive, and energetic daily routine.

We look for energetic individuals with childcare experience, basic knowledge of child development, and Garda vetting. SNA experience and references are valued as part of the selection process.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• SNA experience.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
