Job summary

Musgrave in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Digital Product Team. You will design consumer-facing experiences across brands like SuperValu, Centra, and Musgrave MarketPlace, aligning with brand guidelines and delivering accessible, customer-centric interfaces.

You will conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, collaborate with product managers, IT, QA and stakeholders, and help iterate design systems to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification in design, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a UX, Interaction or Product designer.
• Practical understanding of User Centred Design principles.
• Proficiency with interface design (we use Figma but Penpot, XD, Sketch, etc. are all acceptable).
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous research and data analytics experience.
• Basic working knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript an advantage.
• Experience creating lo-fi wireframes, prototypes, user flows and customer journeys.
• A working knowledge of building, using and iterating Design Systems is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and user-friendly interface designs that align with established brand guidelines and contribute to a seamless customer experience across in store and digital platforms
• Curate and assist in conducting user research and usability testing, gathering insights to refine design solutions and enhance user satisfaction
• Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, IT and development professionals, QA, and business stakeholders to define and prioritise product updates, ensuring the customer voice is heard
• Understand and translate requirements into intuitive and accessible designs, using sketches, wireframes and prototypes to build towards final interface
• Work within and iterate existing design systems, maintaining consistency in visual elements and user interactions.
