Job summary

Musgrave Group in Cork is seeking a Trading Manager Assistant to join the Trading (Buying) team. You will provide administrative support to the Trading Manager, liaise with suppliers, and help drive cross-functional projects.

The role requires strong organization, numeracy and Excel skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering accurate reports. Musgrave values community focus and offers a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation with excellent administrative, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Competency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience with in-house databases is desirable.
• Previous experience in Trading/Purchasing, Sales or Supply Chain is essential.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Planning and organizing skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to the Trading Manager in the day to day running of the portfolio.
• Liaising with Suppliers for your portfolio and with the wider trading team to ensure clear communication around projects and frequent deadlines.
• Supporting the TM on cross functional initiatives which require strong organisational skills, a team work approach and a passion for food.
• Responsibility for maintaining accurate and up to date reports using Excel and strong numerical skills.
• Working on own initiative with autonomy and as a part of the wider Trading team on a varied workload.
