Job summary

Swissport is seeking a Trucking Co-Ordinator to oversee the Irish trucking operation, reporting to the Trucking Manager for Ireland. You will manage and supervise planning of our trucks and subcontractors across Ireland, coordinating with Dublin, Cork, Shannon and UK offices to ensure on-time shipments and accurate dispatches.

Based in Dublin, you will work within a small team to maintain high service quality, liaise with cargo, warehouse staff and customers, and adapt to a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• 5+ years of experience in trucking or logistics.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and logistics management systems.
• Contract is 5 from 7 days; weekend work and shift re-rostering required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Swissport is seeking a Trucking Co-Ordinator to oversee the Irish Trucking Operation and report to the Trucking Manager for Ireland. The role will see you take responsibility for managing and supervising the planning of our trucks and sub-contractors throughout our logistics network in Ireland. As part of a small team, you will be overseeing day-to-day operations in our trucking department at Dublin, ensuring all shipments and deliveries/collections are handled and executed in a timely and efficient manner. You will also work closely with the cargo office and warehouse staff at Dublin, Cork, Shannon and the respective UK offices to ensure that all trucks are correctly planned, loaded and dispatched to meet the high standards for quality and accuracy that is required by our customers.
