Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is seeking a Social Care Worker for a new Tusla service in Donegal to deliver trauma-informed care for young people aged 13–17. You will join a team focused on building positive attachments and a therapeutic environment.

Key duties include developing and implementing care plans, promoting welfare, liaising with families and agencies, attending meetings, and ensuring HIQA standards are met while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU.
• Evidence of CORU registration or application (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans and ensure proper recording.
• Promote rights and welfare of each child/young person in care.
• Liaise with parents, family and other services on behalf of the young person.
• Attend meetings related to care and developments of the young person.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities and report to Social Care Leader/Manager on progress.
