Job summary

Merchants Quay Ireland seeks a Dublin Clinical Services Manager to direct the day-to-day operations of its Dublin clinical services. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure trauma-informed, high-quality care for clients.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Dublin Day Services, you will balance clinical leadership with governance, compliance, and service improvement across nursing, GP and counselling services at Riverbank House.

Qualifications

• Primary Degree in a Health-related discipline (Level 8).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering clinical services in addiction, homelessness and mental health with 3 years in a management role.
• Proven leadership and multidisciplinary team management.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Passion for trauma-informed and inclusive services.
• Excellent strategic and analytical skills with planning and execution capabilities.
• Strong leadership and decision-making to motivate teams.
• Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders including people with lived experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of Clinical Services to meet service standards and MQI ethos.
• Provide performance management support to management and staff.
• Promote a Trauma-Informed approach to service delivery and organisational practices.
• Coordinate assessment, implementation, and review of care for service users.
• Ensure compliance with Professional Guidelines, MQI policies and current legislation.
• Support the team in providing direct care to MSIF clients where required.
• Ensure clinical management protocols are adhered to by all staff.
• Produce regular service activity reports and respond to ad-hoc information needs.
• Maintain financial controls and ensure service operates within budget.
• Keep client databases and IT filing up to date.
