Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting a Social Care Manager in Dublin to lead a new Tusla service delivering trauma-informed care for youths aged 13–17. You will oversee centre operations, ensure safe environments, and drive engagement with young people to foster positive attachments.

The role requires at least five years in a Social Care Grade within a Children’s Residential Centre, CORU registration (or eligible), and strong leadership, planning, and compliance with HIQA standards.

Qualifications

• Have 5 years’ experience in a Social Care Grade in a Children’s Residential Centre.
• Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU.
• CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification or eligibility for CORU registration.
• Demonstrate high suitability and ability to discharge duties.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, caring, and stable environment for the young people in the centre.
• Manage centre budget and resources.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop centre staff.
• Ensure Care and Placement Plans are implemented and monitored.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and policies.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and families.
