Job summary

Quest Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transfer Agency Manager to join a leading financial services firm in Dublin. This senior role manages client relationships, oversees day-to-day TA activities and ensures a high standard of service across a portfolio of alternative investment clients.

The successful candidate will bring 6+ years in Transfer Agency or Fund Administration, be adept at NAV processes, investor reporting and process improvements, and demonstrate strong leadership in coaching

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience within Transfer Agency, Fund Administration or related environment.
• Experience in Hedge Fund Administrator or alternative investment environments.
• At least 3 years in a senior administrator, supervisory or management role.
• Strong understanding of investor servicing, capital activity, NAV processes and client reporting.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle escalations effectively.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive approach to process improvement, team development and client service.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing relationships and serving as escalation point.
• Oversee the team's daily workflow, ensuring deadlines, controls and service standards.
• Provide oversight of capital activity, NAV processes and investor records.
• Ensure investor and client reporting is accurate and delivered on time.
• Adhere to TA policies, procedures and best-practice standards.
• Work with AML, Treasury, Fund Accounting, Compliance and Audit teams.
• Represent Investor Relations at client and auditor meetings, including on-site visits.
• Participate in management meetings and contribute to operational initiatives.
• Lead regular team meetings with updates on operations and projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members on processes and changes.

An established and highly regarded financial services organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Transfer AgencyManager to join its Fund Administration team.

This is a senior position responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing day-to-day TA activities and ensuring a high standard of service delivery across a portfolio of alternative investment clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing relationships and acting as an escalation point where required.
• Oversee the team's daily workflow, ensuring deadlines, controls and service standards are consistently met.
• Provide oversight of capital activity, NAV processes and associated investor records.
• Ensure investor and client reporting is accurate, complete and delivered within agreed timelines.
• Ensure adherence to relevant TA policies, procedures and best-practice standards.
• Work closely with internal teams including AML, Treasury, Fund Accounting, Compliance and Audit.
• Represent Investor Relations at client and auditor meetings, including on-site visits where required.
• Participate in management meetings and contribute to the development of operational initiatives.
• Lead regular team meetings, providing updates on operational matters and ongoing projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls and client service.
• Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to team members, particularly around operational processes, systems and procedural changes.

About You

• 6+ years' experience within Transfer Agency, Fund Administration or a closely related environment.
• Previous experience working within a Hedge Fund Administrator or alternative investment environment.
• At least 3 years' experience in a senior administrator, supervisory or management capacity.
• Strong understanding of investor servicing, capital activity, NAV processes and client reporting.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle escalations effectively.
