Job summary

Expeditors in Ireland is seeking a logistics professional to ensure smooth freight process flow, accurate data entry into our operational system, and timely tracking and reporting of Transcon files. The role emphasizes client and vendor billing accuracy, on-time freight delivery, strong supplier relationships, and meeting KPI standards while adhering to company procedures and updates to internal DLSOPs.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Understanding of ocean documentation processes is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to obtain positive results.
• Proactive, strong organizational skills.
• Hazardous Materials certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Enter data accurately into our operational system.
• Track and trace Transcon files and generate reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure on-time delivery and clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers to arrange shipments meeting service standards.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet KPI standards in line with Company policy.
• Understand customers' procedures and keep internal DLSOPs updated.

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times?
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
