Job summary

Expeditors is seeking an Air Export AOG Agent to support export shipments, including documentation, data entry, and dispatch. You will communicate with customers and partners globally while ensuring compliance and timely billing.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of related experience, understanding of air documentation, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint is expected; IATA certification is a plus and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience essential
• Understanding of air documentation
• Effective interpersonal abilities, including clear communication to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• IATA certification (preferred)
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Track and Trace shipments.
• Prepare, handle, and process shipment documentation (house and master air waybills, commercial documents, customs/regulatory documents).
• Accurate data entry into operating system.
• Dispatch freight.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, Expeditors offices worldwide, and coworkers via email, phone, IM, and in person.
• Monitor reports.
• Accurate and timely client billing.
• Maintain strong service provider relationships (airlines, trucking companies).
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and customer requirements.
• Meet KPIs to support department and company goals.
• Seek opportunities for process improvement across department workflows.
• Complete required 52 hours of annual training (company provided).

Job Description

Air Export AOG Agent will serve in an operations capacity, responsible for processing export shipments including accompanying export documentation. Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Track and Trace shipments.
• Prepare, handle, and process shipment documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.
• Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Dispatch freight.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, other Expeditors offices worldwide, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and person to person.
• Monitor reports.
• Accurate and timely client billing.
• Contribute to maintaining strong service provider relationships- airlines, trucking companies, and others.
• Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.
• Meet key performance indicators to support department, branch, product, and company goals.
• Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Training and Development - must obtain required 52 hours of?annual training. (company provided)
