Job summary

Fitzpatrick's Garage Group Ltd is seeking a motivated Trainee Parts Advisor to join our busy Parts Department. You will greet customers, process parts orders, and help maintain stock levels while delivering a first-class service.

You will work closely with the Service team and trade customers, develop product knowledge, and support the smooth running of the parts operation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from first contact to vehicle collection.
• Serve Parts through front counter and workshop.
• Maintain and build relationships with trade customers and suppliers; ensure customers are dealt with promptly.
• Report stock damage or stock losses to the Parts Manager.
• Assist in stock checks when required.
• Liaise with Service Department and Technicians to ensure smooth operation.

Job description

This is a fantastic career opportunity to train as a Parts Advisor within the Fitzpatrick’s Group of dealerships, which includes Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Opel, and Leapmotor.

As a Trainee Parts Advisor, you will be providing a first-class customer experience while maximising sales opportunities in a fast-paced environment. The smooth running of the Parts Department is vital to our business, and you will become a key element of the team. Monitoring and maintaining our stock levels to ensure that they meet customer demands, along with monitoring and maintaining our work in progress.

Main Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from the first contact right through to the customer collecting their vehicle.
• Serving Parts through both the front counter and workshop.
• Maintain and build relationships with trade customers and suppliersEnsuring all customers are dealt with promptly and courteously.
• Reporting any stock damage or stock losses to the Parts Manager.
• To assist in stock checks when required.
• Liaising and having open communication with both our Service Department and Technicians.
