Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Business Developer to grow our local depot. You will engage with trade customers face-to-face and on the phone, build strong relationships, and convert conversations into opportunities and sales.

You will generate leads, arrange appointments, and keep the pipeline moving within a busy depot team, working with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives. The role emphasizes talking to customers, driving sales, and being proactive in identifying

Responsibilities

• Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow business.
• Use customer data to identify inactivity and re-engage accounts.
• Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call targets.
• Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Support administration including invoicing and depot tasks.
• Collaborate with the depot team to hit targets and deliver great service.
