Job summary

Howdens Joinery, the UK's No.1 Trade Kitchen Supplier, is seeking a Business Developer to grow our local depot's trade customer base. You’ll combine face-to-face meetings with proactive calling to uncover opportunities and convert conversations into orders.

You’ll build relationships with existing accounts, target new customers, and work with Kitchen Sales Designers to promote products, offers and events while hitting activity targets and contributing to the depot’s success.

Qualifications

• Experience in telesales, account management or a customer focused role is helpful.
• Confident communicator comfortable speaking to customers on the phone and face to face.

Responsibilities

• Calling existing trade customers to build long term relationships and grow future business.
• Managing a targeted customer list and achieving daily call activity levels.
• Arranging surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promoting products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Supporting administration, including invoicing and general depot tasks.
