Howdens Joinery is seeking a Business Developer to grow local depot business. You’ll engage with trade customers face-to-face and by phone, identify opportunities, and help convert conversations into lasting sales. You’ll collaborate with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives to deliver results.

You’ll be part of a busy depot, focused on targets and customer value, with a strong team culture, and generous incentives and benefits.

Face-to-face and phone communication experience.
Ability to build relationships and convert conversations into opportunities.
Commercial mindset with focus on driving sales and adding value.
Self-motivated, positive and proactive.
Organised and reliable, able to manage activity and pipelines.
Comfortable working to call targets and activity levels.

Mansioni

Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow future business.
Use customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call activity levels.
Keep up to date with customer projects to identify opportunities to add value and drive repeat business.
Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
Support administration including invoicing and depot tasks.
Work closely with the wider team to help the depot hit its targets.
