Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a customer-focused Trade Counter & Collections Representative to join our busy branch. You will greet trade customers, process counter sales and collections, and support both the counter and warehouse.

You will handle stock, assist with order picking and packing, and use Kerridge K8 to process sales and returns. The role requires strong English communication, previous trade counter or retail experience, and a hands-on approach in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, or trade counter experience.
• Experience in heating, plumbing, or building supplies trade is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet in a busy warehouse setting.
• Solid computer literacy; Kerridge K8 or similar ERP software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Valid eligibility to work in Ireland permanently.
• Manual handling or forklift certification is a plus (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Greet trade customers promptly and process counter sales and collections.
• Provide product guidance and identify opportunities to suggest relevant add-ons.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for customer collection and dispatch.
• Process sales, returns, and orders using our computer system (K8).
• Assist with stock replenishment, cycle counts, and keeping the counter and warehouse organized.
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
