Job summary

Eden Recruitment Limited, on behalf of our client in Dublin 22, is seeking a Trade Counter Sales professional to join the team. You will work primarily with trade account customers across construction, engineering, manufacturing, utilities and maintenance sectors, combining customer service, sales support and business development to drive growth.

Responsibilities include handling enquiries, processing orders, advising on products and building relationships with existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales in trade counter or merchant environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in Engineering supplies, industrial distribution, or maintenance consumables.
• Experience dealing with trade account customers.

• Maintain a clean, organised and professional trade counter environment.
• Keep key trade counter stock lines replenished and properly displayed.

The successful candidate will work primarily with trade account customers from construction, engineering, manufacturing, utilities and facilities maintenance sectors. The role combines customer service, sales support and business development, with excellent opportunities for progression into Internal or External Sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle trade counter enquiries and sales opportunities.
