Job summary

Meta is seeking an Incident Response Team Analyst on a short-term employee (STE) basis to manage time-sensitive emergency escalations with law enforcement and internal partners. You will review threats, assess risk, and determine what information can be safely disclosed to prevent harm while protecting user privacy.

The role requires experience handling high-stakes situations, strong documentation, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders under strict SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience handling time-critical escalations and making well-reasoned decisions under pressure.
• Ability to adapt communication for diverse stakeholders including law enforcement and internal teams.
• Track record of maintaining accurate documentation and meeting deadlines in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate threat, risk and user privacy in time-sensitive emergency escalations.
• Review inbound emergency escalations and provide concise responses to partners including law enforcement.
• Convey clear responses regarding policy and process to internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve policies and processes across teams.
• Prepare for weekend work on a rotational basis; handle potentially graphic content as part of the role.
