Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment seeks an Area Sales Manager based in Ireland, ideally near Limerick or Tipperary, to manage a broad territory and drive growth across multiple counties. The role blends field activities with home-office administration and occasional HQ visits.

In this position you will nurture existing accounts while developing new business, selling kitchen doors and related accessories to a broad range of trade customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales, area sales or account management.
• Experience selling to trade, retail, manufacturing or construction customers.
• A driven, ambitious and commercially focused approach.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.
• Excellent systems and data skills.
• Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts, representing approximately 80% of the role.
• Develop new business opportunities, representing approximately 20% of the role.
• Sell kitchen doors and accessories to retailers, showrooms, manufacturers, tradespeople and construction sites.
• Cover Tipperary, Limerick, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Kerry, Cork, Laois and Offaly.
• Spend approximately four days per week in the field, with Fridays focused on administration from home.
• Host occasional customer visits at company headquarters, with overnight stays required approximately once or twice per month.
