Job summary

The Lunch Bag is hiring School Lunch Operatives for part-time, school-term work across Ireland. You’ll heat meals prepared at our Nenagh, Tipperary HQ, load them into vans, and drive to local schools. Expect 6 hours per day (08:30–14:30) with some flexibility.

Role requires lifting 14 kg, a full, clean Irish driving license, and reliable, cheerful service while supporting children’s meals. You’ll work roughly 183 days a year aligned to the academic calendar, with summer休休 off while staff may be

Qualifications

• Must be able to read English
• Must hold a full clean Irish driving license
• Able to lift up to 14 kg and climb stairs as required
• Willingness to deliver meals to local schools and handle meals safely

Responsibilities

• Heat pre-prepared meals to the specified temperature
• Load meals into vans and deliver to local schools
• Maintain temperature and cleaning records
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain stock levels
