Job summary

The Lunch Bag in Ireland is seeking School Lunch Operatives to heat, load, and drive school meals to local schools. This role is part-time, 6 hours per day, 08:00 to 14:00 with some flexibility as schools' hours vary.

You will heat meals in ovens, load into vans, deliver to schools, maintain stock and records, follow HACCP procedures, and complete training provided. A full clean Irish driving licence and ability to lift 14 kg are required, along with a friendly, reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 14 kg boxes as part of the job.
• Read and understand basic English instructions and HACCP guidance.
• Possess a full clean Irish driving licence and be comfortable driving a company van.

Responsibilities

• Heat meals to specified temperatures according to HACCP guidelines.
• Load meals into ovens, then load into vans for delivery.
• Drive lunches to local schools and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain stock levels and keep temperature and cleaning records.
• Follow work and cleaning schedules; training provided.
