Job summary

The Lunch Bag in Ireland is hiring for School Meals Workers. This role is part-time (4 hours/day, Monday to Friday) serving as the friendly face delivering hot, healthy meals to classrooms. Meals are prepared in Nenagh, then distributed to schools; you heat and portion lunches with care.

Qualifications

• Food handling experience and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a school setting.
• Basic reading of English required.

Responsibilities

• Load pre-packaged meals into ovens.
• Heat meals to required temperature per HACCP guidelines.
• Distribute lunches to classrooms.
• Maintain stock levels.
• Follow and maintain work and cleaning schedule.
• Maintain temperature and cleaning records.
• Restock fruit bowls in classrooms.
• Distribute snacks to classrooms.
• HACCP and Manual Handling Training will be provided.
