Job summary

The Lunch Bag is hiring School Lunch Operatives to join our team in Ireland. This role is part-time, 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with shifts typically 08:00 to 13:00 and some flexibility for start/finish times.

You will heat meals, load them into vans, and drive to local schools, helping deliver healthy lunches while upholding safety standards. The position follows the school calendar and offers steady term-time employment.

Qualifications

• You must be able to read English and hold a full clean Irish driving licence.
• Able to lift 14 kg boxes and climb stairs where required.
• Experience with handling meals and delivering to schools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Heat meals in ovens according to HACCP guidelines.
• Load meals into ovens and load into vans.
• Drive lunches to local schools in a company vehicle.
• Maintain stock levels and follow cleaning schedule and records.
