Job summary

Amach is seeking a dynamic Technical Team Lead for its End User Experience (EUX) function in a leading Irish airline project. The role blends hands-on Microsoft Intune expertise with team leadership, delivering OS upgrades and app rollouts across 2,000+ laptops, 3,000+ iPhones and 700+ Android devices.

You'll guide day-to-day operations, run agile projects in Jira, and collaborate with architects, vendors and leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud or systems engineering roles.
Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
Strong hands-on across all aspects of Microsoft Intune, including Windows Autopilot, policies, enrolment and app deployment.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
Experience with modern workplace solutions such as Citrix and VMware.
Experience leading EUC projects from scoping to rollout across large laptop/mobile estates.
Experience leading projects in Agile environments using Jira.
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
Strong Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of engineers (1–3, up to 6 with contractors) and provide direction.
Oversee daily operations, prioritisation, performance reviews and resource allocation.
Act as first contact for EUX projects across business areas.
Scope new projects: gather requirements, confirm funding, estimate effort and present costs.
Break requirements into tasks and run sprint planning in Jira.
Oversee end-to-end delivery, including device rollout and data migrations.
Collaborate with system architects, project managers and vendors.
Monitor progress, mitigate risks and set stakeholder expectations.
Compile weekly project status reports for management.
