Job summary

ICON Clinical Research seeks an experienced End User Compute Manager to lead workplace technology services globally. You will oversee Citrix VAD, Intune, SCCM, and application delivery to ensure secure, modern, and reliable end-user computing.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic roadmaps, incident management, and continuous improvement in a hybrid Dublin HQ setting. Suitable for leaders with enterprise IT experience and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Experience leading End User Compute or Desktop Engineering teams.
Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
Experience managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
Experience with enterprise application packaging and delivery.
Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 endpoint management.
Experience working in enterprise-scale IT environments.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of End User Compute engineers responsible for endpoint management and application delivery.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and performance management.
Ensure effective prioritisation of operational support and project delivery activities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
Lead incident management and root cause analyses for major issues.
