Job summary

nineDots.io in Dublin is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to own the technical side of the sales process, help customers test, integrate and go live with the platform. This is a hybrid Dublin role with three days in the office, close collaboration with Sales and Engineering.

You will work directly with customer engineers, run evaluations and POCs, build integration guides, and act as the bridge to Shinka's Engineering team, turning customer problems into concrete requirements while shaping

Qualifications

• Experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Integration, Implementation or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of APIs and integrations and the ability to hold your own with a customer's engineers.
• Ability to take a complex technical problem and explain it clearly to both technical and non-technical people.
• A strong sense of ownership - you'll be expected to run an evaluation through to completion.

• Build reusable technical resources including integration guides, testing playbooks and RFI documentation.
• Help shape how the Technical Solutions function works as the company grows.

Technical Solutions Engineer | AdTech | Dublin

Dublin: Hybrid, 3 days in the office

If you're a technically strong engineer who enjoys working with customers, solving tricky integration problems and being close to both Sales and Engineering, this is worth a look.

We're working with a growing AdTech startup building technology for programmatic advertising across CTV and DOOH. Their platform processes billions of ad requests every day, and they're now hiring their first Technical Solutions Engineer.

This is a broad role with a lot of ownership. You'll be the technical person helping customers understand, test, integrate and successfully go live with the platform.

What you'll be doing

• Own the technical side of the sales process, answering RFIs, security questionnaires and technical/integration questions.
• Work directly with customer engineers to understand their architecture and figure out how the platform fits into it.
• Scope and run technical evaluations and POCs, taking them from initial testing through to go-live.
• Work with Customer Success on onboarding and troubleshoot technical issues that could delay or impact customers.
• Act as the bridge between customers and Shinka's Engineering team, turning customer problems into clear technical/product requirements.
• Build reusable technical resources including integration guides, testing playbooks and RFI documentation.
• Help shape how the Technical Solutions function works as the company grows.

What we're looking for

• Experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Integration, Implementation or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of APIs and integrations and the ability to hold your own with a customer's engineers.
• Someone who can take a complex technical problem and explain it clearly to both technical and non-technical people.
• A strong sense of ownership - you'll be expected to run an evaluation through to completion rather than wait for someone else to unblock it.
• Someone who genuinely enjoys solving customer problems and getting things working.
• AdTech / programmatic experience would be a big plus (but not mandatory), particularly OpenRTB, Prebid, VAST/VPAID, CTV, DOOH, ads.txt, sellers.json or SupplyChain.
• Familiarity with Go, TypeScript/React, Kubernetes/GCP, BigQuery or Kafka would be useful, but we're more interested in your technical problem solving ability than a specific stack.

You might already be a strong Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer.

Or you could be an Integration or Implementation Engineer who's spent a lot of time working directly with customers and wants to move further into pre-sales.

What matters most is that you're technically credible, comfortable with customers and happy taking ownership when something needs figuring out.

This is the first Technical Solutions hire, so it's a chance to build the function rather than inherit an established process.
